Some say the kitchen is the heart of the home. Truth be told, I'm not much of a cook, so for me, setting the table is where I display (pun intended) my heart to my family. I love getting creative with the details. Table setting becomes a simple conduit to turn a regular meal into a special occasion—an invitation for whimsy and joy every day.
This month, I'll be focusing on sharing ways to express love and kindness. Being intentional about carving small pockets in our days to do a little something for someone else is incredibly rewarding. Giving ourselves permission to explore and discover how we prefer showcasing love is key. I'm not talking about buying a Hallmark card on the 14th, but about infusing our daily lives with moments of whimsy. Whether it's displaying a freshly picked flower we collected during a walk, folding an origami napkin just so, or creating a handwritten menu for the night (even if you are serving mac and cheese), these small gestures can bring a sense of accomplishment and joy to our evenings. Modeling for our children the beauty of spreading love in simple ways is a timeless lesson in the art of connecting.

A Labor of Love
Exciting News! My first book is out now! "Grace Heard a Whisper” was written by award-winning author Kathy Izard and illustrated by yours truly.
In a world buzzing with noise, it can be challenging to hear anything, let alone the whispers of our souls. Grace embarks on an adventure of listening, living, and loving well after hearing her own little whisper.
Subscribe and stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes insights into my work on the book, an interview with Kathy sharing profound themes of love and connection drawn into its pages.
One last thing…
with love and kindness,
Aniella.
